In fact, my only criticism of the album is that perhaps it might be just a touch TOO consistent - there isn't really a true banger on here to break it up or ignite it, not in the vain of what we're used to, nothing that will set the late-night radio stations on fire in the way that "The Learning (Burn)" did, "Got It Twisted" or even (to a lesser extent) "Put 'Em In Their Place." Maybe that just reflects the state of play with Prodigy being in prison - perhaps it just wouldn't feel right to have a massive anthem knowing that he couldn't truly enjoy it for the next few years. And that is part of the attraction of this LP - the connection that was reset when Mobb Deep signed with G-Unit is back online in a big way with Prodigy's second solo offering. The fans that know and love P or Havoc will immediately identify with "H.N.I.C. 2" and will enjoy listening to it, for sure. 3 will release on July 3rd.It is just a damn shame that the main protagonist isn't around to enjoy the success it deserves. UPDATE: Prodigy has revealed that his new solo album H.N.I.C. “So, I got to really take my time with the concepts, the lyrics, how I want it to be, be really precise with it and really come up with something that can last a long time.” I did my little bid, there years or whatever, and that’s basically when I was writing most of this album,” he said. “The third one, I spent a lot of time working on it. He said that his record with Wiz Khalifa is titled “Co-Pilot,” and describes the track as “dope.” P said that most of the record was written while he was locked up doing a three-year bid. “You wouldn’t think that Pee would have a song with them right now.” “I wanted to use people that were kinda hard to get and also you wouldn’t think that I would collab with them,” he said.
During an interview on MTV’s RapFix Live, P revealed some guest artsts on the project including T.I., Wiz Khalifa, Havoc and Day 26’s Willie. 3 on July 3 rd, with plans to chase the LP with a new Mobb Deep offering. Prodigy recently revealed that he will release his new album H.N.I.C.
